I tried using triangles, squares, pentagons, and hexagons to resemble melon patterns.
If it is square, it will have a melon bread feel.
The hexagonal shape gives it the feel of a soccer ball.
When you think of melons, you think of the mesh pattern that you see in things like cantaloupe.
This mesh pattern is a mark of repair after the damage caused by the skin bursting because the inside grows faster than the skin.
There are only three types of regular polygons that can be laid out on a flat surface: regular triangles, regular quadrilaterals (squares), and regular hexagons.
It seems that regular pentagons can be laid out flat by arranging them three-dimensionally.
