Dandelion is a general term for the genus Taraxacum in the Asteraceae family, and there are approximately 400 known species worldwide.
Its English name is Dandelion (lion's teeth) because of its jagged leaves. People seem to have paid more attention to its leaves than its yellow flowers.
The yellow flower of a dandelion is actually a cluster of many small flowers, technically called a flower head.
I tried to create a pattern inspired by dandelion flower heads and jagged leaves.
It retains the feel of hand-drawn art.
This is the birth flower for February 18th.
